The following articles are taken from my old blog. Each week I would write a brief description of past shows. I ended up with literally thousands of these (all rather repetitive). Here I will be adding a few relevant to the location to give an idea of some of the events I perform at each year.

Corporate Magician Midlands

On Thursday evening I found myself in the lovely city of Worcester. For some reason it’s very rare I perform here, think it’s only the second time this year. I was hired to perform at an event for Zebra Architects who were celebrating their 15th year in business. The owner of the company had seen me perform a year earlier at the builders awards in Bristol and had contacted me shortly after to perform at their event. The party was taking place in Bolero Bar and Kitchen in the centre of Worcester (very pleased they had parking directly outside, and it was free!! Major plus for Worcester). The event was a casual drinks reception for staff and clients of the company. As ever I arrived half an hour early to set up and meet with the client to discuss any last minute changes (there were none). I always like to give the guests 15 minutes to get through the door and get drinks in hand before I start performing. Throughout the evening I mixed and mingled with the guests performing for small groups at a time. Each group would take part in a routine, generally lasting about ten minutes in which I would read minds and manipulate thoughts. Here’s an example of one of my easiest to describe routines. Upon joining a group I will write something down. I will ask the group between them to choose a playing card, whatever they name I will show to have written down previously. This demonstrates influence. I will then move into a mind reading routine. I might ask someone to think of an old friend, I will then describe this person and tell them the name! I was hired for 2 hours but ended up staying about 3 as people kept asking to see more, always my favourite compliment. It was a really fun evening and I look forward to performing for them again.
